Privacy policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

myBoothBuzz is run by Peter Hall in Ashland, Kentucky. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email support@myboothbuzz.com.

What we collect

Shoppers: your email address and the booth numbers you choose to follow at a location.

Managers: your email address, password (stored securely and never visible to us), your location's name, your booth list, vendor names you enter, and vendor access codes.

Vendors: the update messages you send. We also keep a short record of access code attempts, including the device's internet address, to block people trying to guess codes.

How we use it

We use shopper emails only to send updates from the booths that shopper chose to follow, plus a one-time confirmation when they sign up. We use manager emails to run your account and contact you about your plan. We don't send advertising from other companies.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or trade anyone's email address or personal information.

Who can see your information

A location's manager can see how many people follow each booth and the updates vendors have sent. Managers can't see shoppers' email addresses through the dashboard. We use a few trusted services to run myBoothBuzz: Supabase stores our data, Netlify hosts the website, and Resend delivers our emails. They only handle information as needed to provide their service to us. Payments are made through Venmo, so your payment details stay with Venmo and are covered by their privacy policy.

Stopping emails and deleting your information

Every update email has a link to stop following that booth, which deletes that subscription right away. To have all of your information removed, email support@myboothbuzz.com and we'll take care of it. When a manager deletes a booth or closes their account, the related follower information is deleted too.

Kids

myBoothBuzz isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has signed up, let us know and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will be emailed to managers.
